Careers: Project Manager

The Pacific Firm continues to experience phenomenal growth and is adding an On-site Project Manager to our team to assist key clients in building their business. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced recruiter who wants exposure to the “client side” of recruiting and human resources. The candidate must have extremely solid business development skills. This person must be diplomatic and confident enough to say no or re-direct clients when called for.

Project Managers are experienced recruiting professionals with excellent presentation skills and extensive knowledge of the recruiting process. The Project Manager is typically assigned to a single client for a period of 2-4 months where he or she will provide unbiased recruiting expertise and assume responsibility for filling a range of positions during a key period of rapid growth. During the assignment the Project Manager will have the full support of the Pacific Firm’s resources.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Assess recruitment needs with hiring managers and develop strategy.
  • Identify, source and cold call prospective candidates in support of non-technical positions.
  • Identify and coordinate job posting opportunities when appropriate.
  • Manage 3rd party recruitment service providers as needed.
  • Phone screen and interview candidates, present offers, negotiate salaries and complete hire for both non-technical and technical.
  • Oversee the successful implementation of the recruiting process from beginning to end.
  • Ensure complete satisfaction of clients and solidify relationship between client and the Pacific Firm.

On-Site Project Managers join the Pacific Firm as either a contractor (1099) or permanent employee. He/She can work Full or Part-Time depending on the needs of the client, though we require a minimum commitment of 3 full days per week. He/She will report to the Pacific Firm’s Director of On-Site Services.

Upon successful completion of a project we will take significant measures to ensure the availability of a new assignment that meets the Project Manager’s requirements (e.g. Location, Industry…etc.) in a timely manner. We don’t anticipate any significant downtime between projects but if by some chance there is, we may offer the Project Manager an opportunity to work in one of our firm’s offices in a recruiting function.
