Careers: Junior Recruiter

As an Associate Recruiter you will be involved in the execution of management searches. This is an ideal opportunity for someone to gain more exposure to the recruiting field. This position will be responsible for the following:

  • Under the direct supervision of the Managing Director and the project team leader, execute the search strategy
  • Use the best mix of resources to source top talent – relying on our research department, job boards, web searches, referrals and industry-specific sources
  • Develop position descriptions for client review
  • Develop position specific screening questionnaires
  • Recruit, assess, and screen candidates over the phone
  • Rank and comment on the strengths and weaknesses of candidates
  • Provide management reports reflecting progress on each project
  • Leverage our propriety search database for candidate management
  • Ensure data is entered accurately and is thorough so it is useful for future projects and reflects well in client reports
  • Provide excellent customer service so we ensure repeat business

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years recruiting experience for individual contributor and managerial level positions
  • An interest in sourcing hard-to-find candidates by whatever means necessary in a tireless and enthusiastic fashion!
  • Experience using internet search tools, database programs, job boards and MS Office. Must type at least 45 WPM.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including interviewing, selling, influencing, and negotiating.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects with deadlines and reporting requirements
  • Proven knowledge and expertise in recruiting research, cold calling, warm calling and internet recruiting
